See how AI works
- Teachable Machine: train an image model in your browser in about two minutes. This is the hard hat demo.
- Transformer Explainer: watch a real language model pick the next word, with the odds it gives each option.
- Quick, Draw!: two minutes of doodling that shows how a model learns from examples.
Try the assistants
Free tiers work for everything in our workshops.
- ChatGPT from OpenAI
- Microsoft Copilot: sign in with your work account if your company uses Microsoft 365
- Google Gemini
- Claude from Anthropic
- Google Labs: Google’s current AI experiments.
Write a better prompt
Use the RACE framework. Brief the tool the way you would brief a new assistant on their first day.
- R — Role: What do you want the AI to “think” like? For example, a project manager or a safety officer.
- A — Action: What specific task should it do? For example, build a project schedule or a safety checklist.
- C — Context: What other information should it know? For example, regulations, constraints, and the material you paste in.
- E — Expectation: What should the output look like? For example, an email or a spreadsheet.
See RACE in action in the Prompt Library.
Use it responsibly
- What goes in? Don’t paste anything into a free tool that you wouldn’t email to a stranger.
- Who sees the output? Anything headed to a customer, a lender, or an inspector gets a second set of eyes.
- Can a mistake be undone? Numbers, codes, contracts, and legal language get a qualified person’s check.
Before anything goes out the door, ask one question: would you put your name on it exactly as written?
For organizations, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework is the published standard behind responsible AI use.
